Clear rules. Visible movement.

These rules explain what can be listed, how the two boards work, and what may change a position.

1. One public identity, one listing

A listing must use a legitimate, publicly accessible HTTPS destination or a supported X handle. BidFight identifies websites by their canonical root domain: paths, query strings, fragments, and “www” do not create separate listings. Re-entering the same identity returns to the existing listing. Misleading duplicates may be merged or removed.

2. Free fighter roster

An eligible project can join the public fighter roster without payment. The first 30 eligible active projects may receive a Founding Fighter badge. A free listing has no paid rank and does not appear in the ranked Battle until it receives securely confirmed support.

3. Overall ranked Battle

Paid fighters are ordered by their lifetime credited support total, highest first. Support credited through either board contributes to this total. A fighter remains ranked while it is eligible and the service operates, but its position can change at any time.

4. Weekly arena

The weekly view remains hidden until the roster reaches at least 20 fighters. Once unlocked, it counts support credited from Monday 00:00 UTC through the current moment and resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Weekly support also increases the overall total.

5. Optional support and confirmation

Free listing requires no checkout. Entering or advancing in the ranked Battle has a $1 minimum. The displayed target is editable within checkout limits. BidFight changes paid placement only after a signed payment-provider event confirms payment; a success or return page by itself is not proof.

6. Ties and payment adjustments

When credited totals are equal, the listing that reached its current total first appears earlier. Refunds and reversals reduce credited support. An open dispute may remove the affected credit while it is reviewed; a resolved win may restore it.

7. Eligible and prohibited content

Listings must accurately describe legitimate public products, projects, profiles, or accounts. We may reject, hide, edit, merge, or ban destinations involving malware, phishing, impersonation, fraud, unlawful goods or services, sexual exploitation, hateful or violent abuse, intellectual-property infringement, privacy violations, deceptive claims, or other unlawful or harmful content.

8. Moderation is independent of support

Support does not buy immunity, endorsement, or certification. Only active listings appear publicly. We may moderate a listing to enforce these Rules, protect visitors, respond to a rights claim, or comply with law. Payment consequences are governed by the Refund Policy and applicable law.

9. Metrics, activity, and effects

An outbound click is counted when BidFight opens a listing's destination; it is not guaranteed to represent a unique person. Visitors and online totals are anonymous aggregate estimates. Activity messages, achievements, celebrations, sound effects, and share cards reflect board events but never affect position.

10. Fair use

Do not attack or scrape the service abusively, inflate clicks, automate abusive requests, interfere with another listing, misuse checkout, evade moderation, or attempt to falsify payment or event data. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic and preserve audit records.

11. Availability and changes

BidFight may correct errors, maintain the service, or update these Rules. Material rule changes will be posted with a new effective date. No position duration, impression count, click total, commercial result, or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
