This Policy describes information used to operate, secure, and improve BidFight.

Information you provide

We process free-listing submissions such as destinations, categories, and public display information, plus support messages and information associated with an optional checkout. Do not submit sensitive personal information in public listing fields.

Payments

Stripe processes payment details. BidFight receives transaction identifiers, amounts, currency, status, refunds, and dispute information needed to credit support, update board placement, and maintain accounting. We do not receive full card numbers.

Technical and activity information

Our infrastructure may process IP address, browser and device data, timestamps, requested URLs, security signals, and diagnostic logs. We count an outbound open when a visitor follows a listing through BidFight; this is not claimed to identify a unique person. To display aggregate visitor and recent-online counts, we set a first-party anonymous identifier cookie that does not contain a name, email address, or advertising profile. “Online” means recently active, not continuously connected.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as visited pages, approximate location, device and browser information, and referral sources. Google may process identifiers and technical information under its own privacy terms. You can limit this processing through browser privacy controls or available Google opt-out tools.

How information is used

Provide listings, update overall and weekly board placement, process checkouts, and reconcile refunds or disputes.
Record outbound opens and generate aggregate activity, milestones, and shareable events.
Moderate content, prevent fraud, enforce rules, and secure the service.
Respond to support and legal requests, maintain required records, and diagnose reliability.

Sharing

Information may be handled by service providers such as Cloudflare for hosting and security, Stripe for payment processing, and Google for analytics. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and choices

We keep information only as reasonably needed for service, security, dispute, accounting, and legal purposes. Public listing information may remain until removed. You may request access, correction, or deletion by email; some records must be retained where legally required.

International processing and children

Providers may process information in multiple countries. The service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it.
